Toast the Rolls
Preheat oven to 350°F. Brush Hawaiian rolls with melted butter and bake for 5-7 minutes until lightly toasted. Let cool.
Make the Filling
Whisk together pudding mix, 1 1/2 cups milk, vanilla extract, and salt until smooth. Fold in the whipped topping. Refrigerate for 10 minutes.
Fill the Rolls
Transfer filling to a piping bag. Cut a small hole or slit in each roll and pipe the filling inside.
Make the Chocolate
Heat 1 1/4 cups milk until hot (but not boiling). Pour over chocolate chips and stir until smooth.
Dip & Serve
Dip the tops of the filled rolls in the chocolate. Let set slightly before serving.
